First UK edition, published in 1974 by the New Fiction Society in association with Duckworth
Very light foxing to page edges and a couple of minor indentations to the front board otherwise near fine in a near fine dustwrapper which has a little rubbing to the base of the front panel and some fading of colour tone to the spine. Signed by the author to the NFS presentation flyleaf. The book was shortlisted for the Booker Prize.
