Description
The first edition was published by Collins in 1937 and is incredibly rare. This is the Odhams edition from 1938 with printer number C338 on the copywright page and a highly acceptable alternative.
There is foxing to the pages and the boards are very slightly rubbed at edges otherwise a very good copy indeed. The dustwapper is also at least very good with just a little chipping to corners and edges but with no significant loss whatsoever. A couple of minor marks to the rear panel don't prevent this from being a most presentable version.
