First UK edition, published 1947, Collins
Only an inscription on the flyleaf and a minor speckle of foxing prevent the book from being fine. Thus near fine in a very good dustwrapper which has some minor rubbing and wrinkling to the head of the front panel, corners and spine extremities. The is a small closed tear to the base of the rear panel where there is also a small chip with loss to the top edge. A nice copy indeed!
