A fine book in a fine dustwrapper (there is foxing to the reverse but this is completely invisible from the front view). The book is signed by the author on the title page which precedes the main title page (and it has faintly transferred through to it).
There is also an intimate inscription on the flyleaf that is to 'M' from 'D' which is in handwriting very similar to the author's, but we can't attribute this with any degree of certainty.
